Babson College

The future of business is global. You’ve heard it often enough: Now live it. Babson is a leader in educating managers for the new global realities. At the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, the core curriculum--whether in the Two-Year, One-Year, Fast Track, or Evening MBA--includes cases that present important global issues. Our MBA students can also choose electives with an international focus and take part in programs abroad administered by Babson's Office of International Programs (OIP) or in activities sponsored by the W.F. Glavin Center for Global Management . At Babson College, we have a rich tradition of excellence in cultivating entrepreneurial thinking. While some of our graduates pursue start-up ventures, far more of our graduates use their entrepreneurial training to succeed in the corporate environment. Here, entrepreneurship isn't about starting a business, it's a state of mind. Babson features four unique degree programs that prepare students to become superior managers and to meet the needs of progressive organizations. Our Two-Year MBA program features Babson’s innovative modular approach and emphasizes the practical application of business ideas. The modular format integrates the functional elements of business into a cohesive, dynamic whole. Field-based experience, working on real business problems for client companies, lets you put your new skills into action. The accelerated One Year MBA program is designed for students with an undergraduate business degree and at least two years of post-graduate work experience. The One-Year program allows qualified students to earn an MBA degree in just 12 months, including an initial summer semester featuring Babson's innovative modular curriculum. The Babson Evening MBA program is among the top-ranked part-time MBA programs in the US. It offers the flexibility and convenience that working professionals require. And its dynamic curriculum features the same pacesetting modular learning approaches that we use in our full-time programs. Its ten-course core includes four fully integrated “cluster” courses – cross-disciplinary classes where students learn how to think holistically about complex management decisions. Evening MBA students also benefit from being able to apply what they learn in class right on the job. The Fast Track MBA is a part-time program combining traditional classroom instruction with Web-based, distance learning. Fast Track truly merits its name. You earn your degree in just 24 months—much faster than a traditional part-time MBA. Students attend classes on-campus during intensive, two day sessions approximately every six weeks. Fast Track also features a pacesetting modular approach like that in our full-time programs.
