Which target groups do you offer scholarships to?

A limited number of merit based entrance scholarships will be awarded to selected applicants. These scholarships vary in amount. Target groups are outstanding candidates from developing countries and women in business; however, all applicants with outstanding performance are eligible to apply.

Selection criteria: excellent GMAT score, excellent undergraduate academic standing, excellent overall performance during the selection process, excellent case study (after successful first interview).
Volume: Limited overall volume of approx. 130,000 €; individual scholarships from 1,000-8,000 € for tuition fee (approx 20 - 40 scholarships per year)
Next application date/deadline: Scholarship application forms have to be handed in along with the complete application package. We act on a first-come first-served principle

Since 2008 we offer scholarships for women and engineers, each worth 10 000 €.

Required Documents: Online application with one extra one-page essay answering why candidates feel eligible for the scholarship.
Selection criteria: Qualifications as well as financial situation.
Volume: 10.000 € reduction of tuition fee.

We offer scholarships to international students with at least 3 years of full-time post-bachelor work experience. Any international student who has been accepted onto the program may apply.

Our Scholarships for the European Executive MBA are for Small to Medium Sized Companies (SME) with offices in the EU with less than 250 employees worldwide and with a specific development project to grow their business internationally (Non consulting companies only).
The aim of the European Executive MBA scholarship is to enable SME to adapt the management skills of their key executives to an international context so as to enhance their response capacity to a global exposure. Only one manager per company can be granted a scholarship.
How to apply:
Name of Programm: SME Scholarship
Required Documents: Once an executive is admitted to the programme, the company should provide ESCP Europe with the following documents:
- A 3-year international development plan for the company (5 to10 pages A4)
- A 3-year development plan for the individual admitted to the programme (1to 2 pages A4)
Selection criteria: The scholarship can only be granted to a company from which the manager has been already admitted to the European Executive MBA.
Volume: two thirds of the programme tuition fees, which represents the sum of 28,000 Euro. The remaining 14,000 Euro must be financed by the participants company.
Next application date: Candidates whose companies wish to apply to the SME Scholarship have to be admitted before the end of October. The dead-line for scholarship application is usually in November . Please look for latest dealines at www.escpeurope.de/exec

We offer merit-based scholarships and assistantships. The assistantships require chosen students to work approximately 8 hours per week inside MIP. There are also special country-based contributions and since 2007 we offer scholarships for women. Moreover we have agreements with several companies that offer scholarships to attend MIP (company-scholarships).
How to apply:
Name of Programm: MIP General Scholarship
Required Documents: Scholarship application is made together with the application for admission. Requirements do not differ from general application requirements.
Selection criteria: Accademic merit, work experience, GMAT, financial resources, study and work background, country of provenance.
Volume: Around 30 percent of MBA participants have some sort of financial aid offered by MIP. General Scholarships cover 10 to 25 percent of program fee, assistantships cover 25 - 50 percent of program fee.
Next application date/deadline: 31st December 2010
MIP for Women: Candidates are asked to write a short essay on the following topic: "How do you perceive the modern role of women in the workplace in your own country?" They also need to have a GMAT score of minimum 600, excellent command of English and solid knowledge of Italian business culture. The three best will be granted a cash bursary of 10000, 7000 and 5000 €.

The GISMA Foundation offers scholarships that are based on merit to highly skilled candidates with exceptional qualifications. Furthermore, the GISMA Foundation offers scholarships based on financial need to highly qualified candidates who with their current financial means are not able to fund the tuition fee. All MBA candidates are eligible for GISMA Foundation Scholarships regardless of their gender, nationality, academic or professional background.

Required Documents: Applicants for the full-time MBA submit the application for a GISMA Foundation Scholarship together with the overall application for admission. The Foundation sponsors students at German Graduate School of Management and Law. All applicants who are accepted onto the GGS Master courses after an assessment receive a scholarship of 50 percent of the tuition fees for the programs scheduled to start in 2011.
How to apply:
Name of Programm: Dieter Schwarz Foundation scholarship
Required Documents: None. After applicants have been accepted for a course of study, the GGS admission office files the scholarship application at the Dieter Schwarz Foundation.

Volume: For the programs scheduled to start in 2011, the foundation awards a scholarship worth 50 percent of the tuition fees.
Next application date: We recommend all applicants to apply early. Applicants are most welcome to apply in advance for the following year's programs. The number of places is limited to 25 students per study program.

Required Documents: Please download the respective scholarship application form from the website www.whu.edu/cms/en/programs/mba/financing-options.
Selection criteria: According to the description of the respective scholarship, we try to support individuals who are likely to add special value to the MBA class (diversity, cultural and educational backgrounds, international mixture of the class).
Volume: The WHU scholarships are not bound to a certain amount, they reduce the tuition fee.
Next application date: The MBA Class of 2012 will start their courses at Feb. 28th. Applications are possible till January 15, 2011.

We offer Regional scholarships, Women's scholarships, Scholarships for participants with 700+ GMAT, for Germans with migrant background, for those from the not-for-profit sector and the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation Scholarships for those from Least Developed Countries.
How to apply:
Name of Programm: ESMT Scholarship Program
Required Documents: Integral part of the ESMT application process. All applicants are automatically considered for those scholarships for which they are eligible.
Selection criteria: Combination of merit and need based on the overall strength of the application relative to other applicants, plus the candidate's ability to self-finance the program
Volume: The scholarships range from 10 000 € to 38 000 € (full). 3 - 4 full scholarships per year and up to 20 partial scholarships.

Required Documents: Students apply directly to the Professional MBA Program Management of the WU Executive Academy. Application documents are available from the Professional MBA Program Management. A committee will nominate the CEE-Scholarships candidates, who will be invited to a personal interview in Vienna.

Selection criteria (in order of importance):
Overall strength and quality of the candidate's profile - e.g., length and quality/uniqueness of his/her professional experience, academic merit demontsrated in the previous study, GMAT and TOEFL scores, assessment through interview etc. Another factor is how much diversity a potential scholarship winner would add to International MBA Class.
